Mother's Day Brunch in the Tasting Room
Join us for a spectacular Mother’s Day Brunch at Epiphany Lounge. This year we are keeping it casual in the winery tasting room from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. We will be serving up all the usual breakfast suspects: fresh cut up fruit & melons, croissants & muffins with creamy butter and marmalade on the side, breakfast sausage, crispy bacon, breakfast potatoes sauteed with shallots, thyme & rosemary, and topped with fresh chives. There’s a waffle station, too. Who doesn’t like a waffle hot off the griddle? Top it with real maple syrup or whipped cream. Our own in-house culinary-trained Chef, Crystal, will be returning for this limited engagement at the omelette station. Choose from a plethora of fresh veggies, meats and cheeses to have an omelet made just the way you like them. And for those wanting something for lunch, she’ll also be manning the made-to-order pasta station, complete with your choice of a alfredo or marinara sauce, and a host of veggies to add! But wait! But don’t forget to leave room so you can hit the dessert station!
Tickets are just $28 for adults, and $12 for children under the age of 12. There will be a complimentary orange juice, coffee, tea and lemonade station. Or choose bottomless mimosas! We’ll have a variety of juices for you to create your favorite sparkling blend. RSVP’s are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.

The Judgement of Paris
THE JUDGEMENT OF PARIS
On May 24th, 1976 there was a spectacular blind wine tasting in Paris, France. Eleven of the most prominent and influential French wine critics comprised the panel of judges. Steve Spurrier, the owner of a fine wine shop in Paris, organized this tasting. He and his wife traveled to a little-known wine region in California called Napa. There, they gathered the best Cabernets and Chardonnays from small batch wineries to take back to Paris to be pitted against what were considered far superior French Burgundy and Bordeaux wines. At the end of the tasting, the scorecards were tabulated and the results were shocking to everyone in attendance. California had beaten the French and took the top spot in both Chardonnay & Cabernet! The outcome of this blind tasting put Napa Valley on the map and forever changed the landscape and assumptions of California wines. Join us as we celebrate this historical wine event with a blind tasting of our own, again pitting top California wines against top-rated French wines.

First Friday Flights @ The Lounge on Main
Who doesn’t love to explore different wine regions?! We’ve taken you around the globe, exploring South African, Greek, French, Spanish & Italian wines. But this month we are staying stateside, exploring wines from the Monticello AVA in Virginia!
You may recognize the name, but did you know this winery was originally established in 1999, before ownership changed hands in 2011 (Eric Trump owns the winery). It’s the largest winery on the East Coast, and their wines have won many awards in both regional and international competitions. With the summer months in full swing, we’ll be pouring a rose’, a lightly oaked Chardonnay, and a Bordeaux-style red blend. Regardless of the name on the bottle, I think you’ll find a very pleasant surprise in your glass.
Included in your ticket is a 3oz sample of each of the three wines being poured, along with light appetizers, and an assortment of cheeses and fresh fruit. Get your tickets now before they sell out! (There will be a very limited number of bottles available for purchase, but we will be taking orders.)
